Recipes to use
flour- 9cups
Butter- 1 satchet (250g)
Egg - 3
Sugar - 1cup
Baking powder - level teaspoon
Milk flavor - 2table spoon
Milk breaker - 1table spoon
Salt - half teaspoon
Vegetable oil
PROCEDURE
put flour in a basin, put all the dry ingredients and mix it together, add butter to the flour and rub it until it becomes powdery, make an hole and add the egg bit by bit and mix it together, finally, add a cup of water bit by bit and knead it till it becomes smooth and no more sticking on you hands. Then leave it for awhile .
N/B: this mixture is called DOUGH. Your dough must not be too soft, otherwise it will stress you while cutting, it will not come out the shape you cut, sticking on each other, and will pick so much oil while frying.
Get a flat surface board, rolling pin, and knife
Cut a portion of the dough place it the flat surface, use rolling pin ,roll and flatten it,
Cut it to your desire shape using knife
Place oil on the fire to become very hot. Its deep frying so it required much oil
Using frying spoon, stir it gently for about 3-4min.depending on the quantity you put at time, Then remove them into a sieve,
Allow to cool
Your yummy and crunchy chin chin is ready for sell or home consumption, Enjoy!!
